Submission Checklist

Are you ready to showcase your groundbreaking research? Submit your manuscript to Ascent Research Institute and have your paper reviewed by Ivy league students and PhD candidates. Who can submit a student manuscript?

Submission can be made by students, teachers, mentors, or the Principal Investigator of a lab.

Ensure that your submission adheres to the following guidelines:

  1. Manuscript Sections:

    • Includes Title Page, Summary (Abstract), Introduction, Results, Discussion, Materials and Methods, References, and Figures, Tables, and Captions.

  2. Research Criteria:

    • The research tests a clearly stated hypothesis or question proven or analyzed through experiments and review conducted by the authors. In case of inventions, they must be used to test a hypothesis with a rigorously designed experiment.

  3. References:

    • Citations are present throughout the manuscript and listed in the References section in MLA format.

  4. Document Specifications:

    • Manuscript does not exceed 25 pages, is in .doc or .docx format, and includes figures + tables.

  5. Figure and Table Submission:

    • Figures are embedded in the manuscript and submitted separately as image files in Editorial Manager. Tables are embedded in the Word file.

  6. Original Work:

    • All un-cited data is the authors’ original work. Collaborators are listed as authors, and any external data is appropriately cited.

    • Note: All papers containing traces of AI written work will be discarded.

  7. Image Copyright:

    • All included images are non-copyrighted or the authors’ original work.

  8. Review and Institutional Details:

    • Senior author review is confirmed. For laboratory research, the institutional email address of the principal investigator is included.

  9. Ethical Approvals:

    • If applicable, appropriate forms for research involving human subjects or vertebrate animals are submitted.

Submission Fee Note: Please be aware that there is a $350 fee for manuscript submission. This fee serves as a 501(c)(3) donation supporting our research initiatives.
